Manufacturing Expansion & Modernization
This project represents an important step in Corwin Metal Products' continued growth and commitment to manufacturing in Canada.
Increasing our production capabilities allows us to manufacture a wider range of steel framing products domestically while strengthening our ability to serve contractors, distributors, and building-material suppliers across the country.
An important part of this expansion is the continued growth of our workforce. As production volumes increase, a larger and more capable workforce will be essential to operating additional production lines, maintaining equipment, supporting material flow, ensuring product quality, and meeting the needs of a growing customer base. By expanding our manufacturing capabilities, we are creating the foundation for both increased production and long-term employment opportunities within our operations.
Through continued investment in equipment, technology, our facility, and most importantly our people, Corwin is building the manufacturing capacity and skilled workforce needed to support our customers today while preparing for future growth.

Manufacturing Expansion & Modernization
Investing in the Future of Canadian Steel Manufacturing.
Corwin Metal Products is continuing to invest in the growth and modernization of our manufacturing operations to strengthen our production capabilities, improve efficiency, and better serve customers across Canada.
As part of this initiative, Corwin is implementing advanced automated manufacturing equipment and upgrading our production processes to support increased demand and a broader range of steel framing products. The project is supported by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) and is designed to improve the efficiency, consistency, and flexibility of our manufacturing operations.
A key component of the project is the acquisition and commissioning of a new automated trim line, along with the installation of an additional steel stud roll-forming line. The additional equipment will allow Corwin to increase production capacity, expand the range of products we manufacture, and improve our ability to respond to changing customer and market requirements.
The project also goes beyond the addition of new equipment. Corwin is integrating digital production monitoring and standardized manufacturing workflows to provide greater visibility into our operations and identify opportunities to improve productivity. Our facility is also being reconfigured to better support higher-volume automated production, while employees receive the training necessary to operate new equipment safely and effectively.
These investments are particularly important as Canadian manufacturers continue to navigate changing market conditions, tariffs, supply-chain disruptions, and increasing competitive pressures. By investing in automation, productivity, and domestic manufacturing capacity, Corwin is working to build a more efficient and resilient operation capable of supporting continued growth.
